Love,immeasurable

Someone once told me there was no way two people could love each other equally. She said "definitely, one person's love will exceed the other".
Truthfully, I had no idea about this or how true it is so I asked google.

I wrote 'can two people love each other equally?' the answer I got got me thinking on a lot of things.

'It is quite futile to discuss if anybody feels "more" love than the other. The fact of the matter is this: People love differently.Therefore it is quite impossible to say to one person:"I love you more than you love me."The only appropriate text you could use would have to be:"I love you differently than you love me." There is not a more or less. Love, -true love!- is not something that can be compared to one another. If you use the word "love" in its truest meaning there cannot be any differentiation: You either love or you don't. There is no "I love you just a little" just as there is no "I love you half the time and the other half I h noate you"... Those are just variations of simpatico, infatuation or self-delusion. The real love is love unconditional.
It's totally helpless to what the other is or wants or feels toward you... If you love it's always COMPLETE love... and you just can't
help it! ;)'


Many people have 'adviced' that I shouldn't love my partner more than he loves me...errm so apart from this being ridiculous,how am I supposed to measure the love? With a weighing scale?

These sorts of 'advice' has led to a lot of regretful breakups because people think they have to suppress how they truly feel so they don't come off as too desperate. The whole point is that you can't even measure the love to talk of segmenting it.

I haven't lived very long on this earth, neither do I have all the experiences love offers but I know love doesn't need your permission to operate. just like the answer google gave me, true love is actually helpless.

If you love your partner, (which I'm sure you do,otherwise why are you with them in the first place?) Show it to them,let them know it. Hold your end of the rope. Life is too difficult already to keep leftovers of love in your heart...masa, madam love and love and love and show it too.
